Low-impact living initiative and Magnificent Revolution invite all to a residential weekend course on pedal-powered generators, 4 ??? 6 November 2011 at Buckinghamshire.

During the weekend you will discover how to use your own bike as part of a small power station, capable of powering computers, stereos, TVs and other small household appliances. This method makes a great use of your bike when you???re not riding it around town.

You will also find out all you need to know to assemble a bike-powered generator, learn how to use your bike to charge batteries, how to link bikes together to generate more power for performances or festivals and how to combine pedal power and solar power ??? and even more!

Basic DIY skills would be an advantage but are not necessary to take part in the course.
