Open City Doc Fest

Open City Doc Fest

We are delighted to be part of the Open City documentary festival taking place from June 16th to the 19th.

We’ll be powering two films: ‘Everyday Sunshine: The Story of Fishbone‘ and ‘Metropolis‘.

Ok, so ‘Metropolis isn’t strictly a documentary but it’s a hugely influential film – not only in cinema but further afield. We’re also huge fans of the movie.

The Open City Documentary Festival has a lot of energy and enthusiasm so we thought we’d share their manifesto:

We have set up Open City because we believe there needs to be a place to hear the stories that matter: stories that, all too often, remain untold; lives unrecognised, abuses ignored, follies forgotten, connections unrealised, joys uncelebrated. We need an occasion to celebrate the meeting of art and journalism that defines great documentary.
