We’re back for another summer of cycle powered screenings at Hackney City Farm and we’re kicking off the season with THE BLUES BROTHERS (1980) on SATURDAY 25TH MAY. So grab your shades and a pork-pie hat and pedal down!

With more stars than you can shake your funky thang at, John Belushi and Dan Ackroyd star as Jake and Elwood Blues as they try to bring back the band and try and save the Catholic home where they were raised.

We’ll be opening the (farm) gates at 8pm so if you want to get a good seat then come down early and remember to bring a bicycle if you want to use yours in the generator. We’ll also be serving local ales and some delicious home-cooked vegan / non-vegan food if you get hungry.

We’re running the event as a special fundraiser for BIKE YARD EAST at the farm, who tragically had their shop burnt down in an arson attack earlier in the year, so please bring some pennies and pounds!

Remember that the Cycle-In Cinema is an outdoors event and if it looks like it’s going to rain on the night we’ll have to reschedule. We have a license for the whole weekend so hope fully it wont rain all bank holiday. Please check our website, Facebook and Twitter feeds for details on the day.
