LSE screening

So we went back to LSE for a film screening of “Bellevue Rendez-vous” . The event was put together by the student’s union in collaboration with the LSE People and Planet society. We had a 1st public attempt with our new improved 8 bike generator rewired. We had a tiny bit of fusing trouble but we managed to resolve it and the show went on….

But there was a nice addition to this event ans that was free wine! Cono Sur , an

Adolfo, Cono Sur Winemaker

environmentally conscious wine company from Chile got in touch and kindly donated bottles of delicious red and white wine to reward our hard working cyclists.  Cono Sur wishes to set an example for the wine industry in Chile and other parts of the world. 11 years ago, they decided to go organic for 40 hectares of their vineyards. After producing their first organic wine, another 210 hectares have been converted.  Cono Sur is just awaiting their report from a recent carbon footprint survey and Mag Rev is going to help them visually interpret these figures with bike power at a big wine expo in London.

And not to forget….there is a bicycle on the label ……they use them to get around the vineyard!
