Ahhhh. Remember the times when we wrote our first blog? Powered a light bulb for the first time? Back then we were just novices, pedal power fledglings. We’ve grown, matured and the cycle of life tumbled and tumbled… till we had our first official baby!  It’s beautiful! It’s in Manchester! It’s called PowWow Pedal Power!

PowWow Pedal Power was started last year by two super duper keen magnificent volunteers (or rather Magrevettes) Dan and Anna. Dan and Anna are involved in I Bike MCR, a grassroots cycling community in Manchester. They warmly welcomed us a few times when we came up to do pedal powered gigs up in Manchester. Then they came down to Shamabala last summer and helped out with our pedal powered stage and so it rolled on. We’re super proud that they got it together as Manchester really deserves its own pedal power crew! Keep pedaling and keep it local!
