System Reload is a series of participative events intended to spark eco-creativity and provoke the passion that exists within the international eco-design community towards real and meaningful action. People can join variety of transformative experiences: Co-creative, thought-provoking, inspiring and playful workshops, storytelling, films, games, eco-creative action events and more.
We’ll be running a workshop where people can discover how to use their own bike as part of a small power station, capable of powering computer, stereo, TV and other small household appliances. This method makes a great use of bikes when they’re not being ridden around town. We’ll briefly look into assembly and use of bike-powered generators. Our workshop will be bike-powered. Basic DIY skills would be an advantage but are not necessary.
Times: 15-16:30
