Secret Gardens and Sleepless Nights

Good times were here again. 11 of us cycled 22 miles up to the Secret Garden Party festival from our base in Cambridge. The ride was amazing, the weather was sweet, and everybody did great pulling most of our gear on trailers. Even Shaun did us proud pulling a trailer on a tall bike. What a nutter! We definitely got few extra honks and curious gazes from passing traffic having him around.

We were sceptical of the Secret Garden at first but it soon grew on us or rather we grew into it. The stuff they say about participation is really true. Everyone takes part. Whether it involves making wacky costume, crawling through the festival shackled to a small PA on wheels or erecting the “turn-up tree” where you can track down those knickers you lost the night before.

The first day we got there, we spent our time tinkered with our system making sure it runs smoothly, made a giant twister game and some signage for our late night ventures. Good old Pizza Dan was there and kindly donated us use his army tent as workshop space. In reciprocity, we lent him our decks for a shady bit of late night drum and bass after-partying. Mag Rev was running pedal powered audio visuals & games from 2am till the sun rays hit the festival site. It all went smooth with plenty of leg work from the Secret Garden’s temporary inhabitants. Not sure how we do it, but we managed to party like animals and get our work done. The revolution never sleeps!

Bike or Truck?

Off again to the deepest, darkest, indie kid filled oxfordshire countryside for the Mag Rev crew at at Truck 11.

It was also the first outing for our new tall bike!  Enjoy the pictures

Magnificent Tallbike

We’ve now got our own tall bike made from carefully hand picked bike junk chopped up and welded back together again!

It wouldn’t have been possible without the guidence of his darkness, Bennitto Chunkolini
