World Environment Day

In 2008, Magnificent Revolution celebrated the World Environment Day with children from Cambridge’s primary schools. Throughout the day adult volunteers helped to pedal power short films from the Grains of Sand children and young people’s climate change short film competition. We had a few kid’s bicycles and youngsters could enter a competition to see who in the class churns out the most watts. Smell of rubber complimented the daily activities as primary school children were reaching the 70 watt marks. Later in day we plaid some short films and music for older audiences.
