Mill Road Winter Fair
Hosted by the Argyle Street Housing Coop and held at the annual Mill Road Winter Fair, this event aimed to reach the widest possible audience… and it sure did.
With thousands of visitors, the Mill Road Winter fair was the perfect opportunity for Magnificent Revolution to engage with the public and raise awareness amongst all age-groups. five bikes and a stage, that’s all it takes to put a smile on many faces…
Ok, now let’s start from the beginning…
It’s midday and, despite the chilly wind, Shaky gets on stage and people start venturing around the bikes.
More musicians join in…
…and so do cycling connoisseurs…
Our Mayor, Jenny Bailey, and local MP, David Howarth, are loving it too…
Even those who can’t reach the pedals are having a go at it!
Others can have a doughnut or get their face painted whilst waiting for their turn.
Now that the crowd’s warmed up…
…it’s time for a bit of dancing, with the the Littleport Ladies Riot dancers, the Coton Morris Dancers and the Arcos Iris samba band.
And back to the open mic stage with Ben Southworth at the guitar and Doogle at the diabolo.
As the night sets in, Pete Um grabs the mic to boost the bikers up.
And last, but not least, The Jelly Royale make a swinging entrance to come and wish us good night…
To be continued next year…

wow! that looks like a great day out . . . and I MIISSED! it
