We did it again!
10 people, 20 legs were working the cinema again at the Interdependence Day in London. We managed to build a smaller console box…slightly more manageable for transport but still a heavy monster. It felt good to get all the gear out again, get people cycling and show some films. Couple of our new volunteers from London Roisin & Owen came down to help. Things are looking good for us and events seem to just crop up every day. We are wanted and it feels damn good!

Time to straighten right out!
You would be glad to hear that we’re getting ourselves organised. Yes, it’s true. We’re not just bunch of hopeless amateurs but flourishing bike power pros. After a few meetings, some painful some pleasant, we came to some agreement on our modus operandi:
So far we have 4 groups
- Event
- Tech
- Film & music
- Admin
Within each group we have voting and non-voting members. This doesn’t mean that peoples voices aren’t heard. Is just that in order to be part of decision making process, person has to be able to make an informed choice. We feel that in order to be bale to make an informed choice person has to commit to the project and its values. The commitment is still something we’re working on defining. Each group will have coordinator who makes sure that stuff gets done. Day to day decisions are made by consensus within working groups. If there are bigger decisions to be resolved then all the voting members get together and decide by consensus. There is more to it but we won’t bore you. If you interested, we will post a page on how we work pretty soon, so keep on checking.
